Aston Martin Virage left the assembly line to make way for new DB9

According to khabarkhodro، The Aston Martin Virage production has been recently axed by the British based automaker, which is planning to replace it with a new DB9 version.

After only 18 months in production and with just 1,000 units sold, the Aston Martin Virage has just left the production line and the sports car will soon be replaced by a new version of the AM 310 Vanquish, which is the successor of the DB9. The new version of the AM 310 Vanquish is expected to get the same “treatment” as the Virage, but, until that will happen, the Virage will most likely become a collectors’ item, just like the DB9 or the DBS.

For those of you who don’t know what an Aston Martin Virage is, we will tell you that the model has been placed in the company’s lineup between the DB9 and the DBS, and that the model was available in two body styles, as a two-door convertible (Volante) and as a two-door coupe, both of them with four seats. The Aston Martin Virage was powered by a hand-made 6.0 liter V12 engine, with 490 BHP and 570 Nm of torque, which helped the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 5 seconds.
