Aston Martin DBS Carbon is available for order

According to Khabarkhodro, The British based automaker Aston Martin has recently announced that its new DBS Carbon is already available for order and the first units of the sports car will be delivered next spring.

Even if the model is not what you can call cheap, with a starting price of 348.000 EUR, the Aston Martin DBS Carbon is apparently loved by the Russians and several orders from people who live in Moscow have been received by the manufacturer, but its future owners will have to wait until next spring before they will be able to drive their new sports cars.

The new Aston Martin DBS is based on the 2009 DBS and it will be offered with two new paintjobs, Flame Orange and Ceramic Grey, along with the original Carbon Black. The automaker says that 25 hours are required for the seven paint layers and manual finish and, as an option, customers can choose a special polish which can be compared to silk. The ten-spoke alloy wheels are finished in diamond black but can also be painted in full gloss black, and are wearing the same color as the brake calipers.

According to the British based automaker, the Aston Martin DBS Carbon is powered by a 6.0 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine which is developing a total output of 517 horsepower and has a peak torque of 570 Nm, mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is being done in just 4.3 seconds and the top speed is 307 km/h. Prices for the coupe have been set at 348.000 EUR while the convertible version has a starting price of 376.000 EUR.
